This type of helm is an excellent example of the evolution of the knightly helmet. It is one of the first attempts to protect the face with more than just a nasal extension or a mail coif with a face flap. This helm continued on to become the complete head protection of the barrel helm. This transitional helm is constructed from 18 gauge steel. You can adjust the leather liner to fit your head perfectly, and you fasten it securely under your chin using a leather strap and buckle.

Deliveries outside the U.K. are usually delivered within 2-10 working days between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Our main courier is Parcel Force (Within the UK) and GLS within Europe. Shipping is calculated by the volumetric weight of the product(s) ordered. The volumetric weight calculates how much room your order will take up in the courier’s plane/van and a price is worked out accordingly.
