Barbutes

The Barbute (Barbuta in Italian) was developed throughout the 15th century and offered an alternative to the more restrictive sallet. They were popular in Italy but less so throughout the rest of Europe. We offer one of the greatest selections of Barbutes available to buy in the UK. Our collection features a range of Barbutes constructed from 14 and 16 gauge steel that are perfect for re-enactment.
