Our Business

The Knight Shop International Ltd is one of Europe’s largest retailers and wholesalers of replica militaria and associated giftware. We carry a diverse range of products that cater to Historical European Martial Artists (HEMA), Re-enactors, Live Action Role Players (LARP), theatre groups and collectors.

Our History

We were established way back in 1999 on the ground floor of one of the medieval towers of Conwy town walls. Over the following 25 years, fuelled by a passion for our products and a desire to provide the best possible customer service, we have grown to become the UK market leaders in historical swords, armour and weaponry.

Our Location

Our 12,000 sq. ft. warehouse and distribution centre is located within the heartland of North Wales, and area of outstanding natural beauty steeped in Celtic and Medieval history and architecture.

Our shop in Conwy is opposite the World Heritage site of Conwy Castle and is open 7 days a week. It is located on the ground floor of Vardre Hall, a 19th Century gentleman’s residence located at the entrance to the Castle Square. It carries a varied election of lines that are featured on our website, and some that aren’t.

Who we Represent

The Knight Shop is the manufacturer and global distributor for our own in-house brand “Red Dragon Armoury”.  We are also proud to UK distributors for a growing list of major international manufacturers such as Deepeeka, Art Gladius, Medio Evo, Marshal Historical., LK Chen, Ronin Katana, Universal Swords and Kolser. We are also major stockists of other large brands such as Hanwei, GDFB, Marto and SPES.

Our Trade Department

We are major suppliers to the heritage industry. The Knight Shop are official suppliers to large organisations such as English Heritage, Historic Scotland, Historic Royal Palaces, Royal Armouries, British Museum, The National Trust and Warwick Castle. We also supply many smaller independent attractions and gift shops.
