Richard I was king of England from 1189-99. He was the third of five sons of King Henry II of England and Duchess Eleanor of Aquitaine. He was known as Richard Cœur de Lion or Richard the Lionheart because of his reputation as a great military leader and warrior. Richard was a central Christian commander during the Third Crusade and scored considerable victories against his Muslim counterpart, Saladin, although he failed to re-tale Jerusalem. He remains one of the few kings of England who is remembered by his epithet, rather than regnal number, and is an enduring iconic figure both in England and in France.
Our Royal England Shield is constructed from steel and brass and features an aged cracked paint effect finish with antiqued brass heraldic 3 lions of England decoration. It has a hanging chain on the back and a device for vertically mounting a single sword or 2 crossed swords.

Deliveries outside the U.K. are usually delivered within 2-10 working days between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Our main courier is Parcel Force (Within the UK) and GLS within Europe. Shipping is calculated by the volumetric weight of the product(s) ordered. The volumetric weight calculates how much room your order will take up in the courier’s plane/van and a price is worked out accordingly.
