The Celeta was developed in Italy during the 15th century. These helmets were popular throughout Europe and offered an alternative to the more restrictive bascinet. The extended sides protected the neck and jaw, dispensing with the need for a separate bevor or gorget.
Our Celeta is made for an archer and has a hinged cheekpiece (right side) that allows it to be lifted out of the way when using a longbow. It is crafted from 14 gauge steel making it great for re-enactment and comes with a full leather suspension and chin strap.

Deliveries outside the U.K. are usually delivered within 2-10 working days between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Our main courier is Parcel Force (Within the UK) and GLS within Europe. Shipping is calculated by the volumetric weight of the product(s) ordered. The volumetric weight calculates how much room your order will take up in the courier’s plane/van and a price is worked out accordingly.
