Excalibur Sword Letter Opener
Excalibur (meaning to 'cut steel') was the great sword of King Arthur which 'gave light like 30 torches'.
In the Arthurian stories, the name is given to two different swords - the one that the young king pulled from the anvil set in the stone before the church, and so proved his right to the kingship; and the other which the king took from the arm that rose above the surface of the lake, 'clothed in white samite, mystic, wonderful' and which eventually received back the sword when Arthur was dying.
Our Excalibur Letter Opener is a product of the world famous Art Gladius factory in the historic sword manufacturing city of Toledo, Spain. It has a shiny stainless steel blade that will make light work of all but the toughest of envelopes.
