Medieval Under Shorts (Braies)
Braies were worn by Celtic and Germanic tribes and by Europeans into the middle ages. In the later middle ages they were used exclusively as underwear. Braies generally hung to the knees or mid-calf, resembling modern shorts. They were made of leather, wool, or, in later years, cotton or linen.
Our Braies are loose fitting and have a draw string waist that adjusts to fit most sizes. They are ideal to pair with our Medieval Separate Woollen Hose. Great for re-enactment or LARP.
100% cotton.
