Iron Thorn Warhammer - LARP
The mounted knights of the Middle Ages adopted the idea of using war hammers from their Muslim opponents. In comparison to swords, they were inexpensive to produce and easy to use in battle. The spike on this model is curved downwards to make it very effective at piercing and damaging even the thickest plate armour. The rod at the core of our horseman’s pick is made of fibreglass, which makes it very stable. The head provides the ideal counterweight to make this a very balanced weapon, and it is painted to look like steel.
