Even if the Attic peoples had long been in the Iron Age, the Greeks were still making their bronze helmets for centuries. The different types of helmets were later named after the region in which they were first used. The Corinthian helm is probably the best-known Greek helmet type, which originated at the beginning of the seventh century BC. The special feature was that it was forged from only one bronze plate, and was shaped by the form of the human skull. The cheeks and the nasal bar provided protection of the face, even if the field of vision and the breathing was somewhat affected. This helmet prevailed as a standard head guard of the hoplites.

Our Corinthian bronze helmet is forged from a single piece of bronze like the originals. In addition, the facial section is reinforced once more. The helmet is made of one-millimetre thick bronze.
