"Unity" Mask Overlay PRO is a great combination of protection against quick wear and tear of the mask, with back of the head protection from injuries during historical fencing training.
The overlay is made of strong ecological leather and an amortization layer. Occipital protection has the filling made of 1cm thick plastic foam and two overlapping plastic plates. The whole construction is elastic and has strong protection. There are no gaps between the plastic plates to weaken the construction.
"Unity" leather mask overlay PRO is mounted onto the fencing mask and kept in place with an elastic belt below the mask. An additional mounting point, made of Velcro tape, is added between the occipital part and mask overlay - it helps to keep the overlay more stable on the mask. Additional tape with Velcro on the back of the overlay allows its easy removal from the mask and keeps the occipital protector close to the back of the head to minimize the risk of accidental hits.
Construction of the overlay has been modified thanks to our customers' opinions about the other products.

The overlay should fit all commonly used fencing mask models.
