SPES "FG" Gambeson

Our SPES Gambeson is specially designed for ARMA and FEDER. It has a special system of layers which guarantees maximum protection and mobility, including protection against stabs and cuts, using the minimal amount of material. The torso and the neck have overlaps which protect from thrusts. The gambeson is tailored in a way that the lower part sits on the hips. To ensure shoulder mobility, SPES use special deep-set sleeves as well as gussets in the armpits. This model was made in cooperation with "Fechtschule Gdansk" and Jan Chodkiewicz.
The gambeson is made of linen to ensure historical correctness. When using a linen gambeson, be aware that linen is less resistant than other materials, eg cotton, for contact with sharp elements or materials such as Velcro. For that reason, you should be careful using this gambeson with other protective gear.
If you'd prefer having a jacket with good resistant characteristic regardless of historical correctness, we recommend the "AP" Fencing Jacket 350N, "AP" Fencing Jacket 350N, or "FG" Gambeson Basic 350N.

Deliveries outside the U.K. are usually delivered within 2-10 working days between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Our main courier is Parcel Force (Within the UK) and GLS within Europe. Shipping is calculated by the volumetric weight of the product(s) ordered. The volumetric weight calculates how much room your order will take up in the courier’s plane/van and a price is worked out accordingly.
If you would like to see how much the delivery would cost, then please follow these steps: -
1) Add your desired items to the cart, go to checkout.
2) Select the delivery location, ”click" next and a copy of the proposed invoice will be seen with the shipping costs above the total. If you have any queries please don't hesitate to contact us.
