Civil War 'Lobster Pot' Helmet

This helmet is commonly referred to as a Triple (Three) Bar Lobster Pot and is one of the defining helmets of the Cromwellian era. It was worn by troopers of the Parliamentarian “Roundhead” Cavalry – specifically the “Harquebusier” light cavalry troopers who wore helmets, buff coats and cuirasses for protection. They were in continued use after the English Civil War until the end of the 17th century.
Our Civil War 'Lobster Pot' Helmet is hand crafted from polished steel and features an articulated tail to protect the neck, hinged cheek pieces and a tilting visor with 3 bars to protect the face from sword slashes. It is constructed from 18 gauge steel and is great for theatrical use or display. Comes complete with separate padded lining cap that can be glued in if required.

Deliveries outside the U.K. are usually delivered within 2-10 working days between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Our main courier is Parcel Force (Within the UK) and GLS within Europe. Shipping is calculated by the volumetric weight of the product(s) ordered. The volumetric weight calculates how much room your order will take up in the courier’s plane/van and a price is worked out accordingly.
