In the second half of the 15th century, the art of crafting plate armour reached its peak when it came to fusing form with function. Despite its weight, heavy plate armour allows the warrior wearing it enough freedom of movement.
Our Gothic plate gauntlets are typical parts of plate armour suits. Made of real steel, these plate gauntlets are fastened to your wrists with an adjustable leather strap and buckle, and have a leather tie for the fingers. They are lined with mittens made of genuine, soft leather. The thumb plates are hinged to the back of the hand. The underarm edges of our Gothic plate gauntlets are flanged. These pieces are the ideal addition to our Gothic pauldrons, plate vambraces, plate greaves and our Gothic breastplate set.

Our main courier is Parcel Force (Within the UK) and GLS within Europe. Shipping is calculated by the volumetric weight of the product(s) ordered. The volumetric weight calculates how much room your order will take up in the courier’s plane/van and a price is worked out accordingly.
