German Asymmetrical Shoulder Armour (Pauldrons) - 18 gauge
Our German Asymmetrical Shoulder Armour is crafted in the Gothic style of the late 15th century and was popular with knights in Germany, France and England. The left shoulder is more reinforced than the right as this side of the body is more likely to receive a blow from a right-handed swordsman. The top of the shoulder is pierced with arming points (holes) to allow the armour to be laced to either a breastplate or chainmail.
Manufactured from 18 gauge steel making them great for light re-enactment or LARP.
Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafted methods used in its manufacturing.
